lurgeesays...Dowloaded @ 5a.m. 10/10/7 = Sweet!
MINKsays...got it, didn't pay for it, yay radiohead!!! i am so Music Consumer 2.0 now! When's the next one coming out, this is awesome.
i should add that radiohead have had their fair share of money out of me in the past and aren't going to starve to death any time soon. If they had asked for a tenner, i would have paid.
Irishmansays...Just downloaded it, cost me £3.
It is the most beautiful and powerful music they have ever written.
Radiohead have also had their fair amount of cash out of me over the years, both with albums and ticket purchases. I paid what I thought was fair!
I was initially a bit put off by the relatively low bitrate of 160kbps, but it has been encoded extremely well and sounds a hell of a lot better than something you'd rip/encode yourself on your own PC at 160kbps.
Issykittysays...80 dollar boxset coming to meeeee!
mlxsays...*rocknroll by god
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Rocknroll) - requested by mlx.
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
MINK - regardless of what you paid to record companies for past albums - if you are a fan of Radiohead and not a fan of the traditional recording industry, this kind of model should be supported monetarily.
If you would have paid if they asked for $10 - why didn't you just pay that?
I paid $9 which is what I pay for online albums on Amazon.
arvanasays...I downloaded it pretty much the minute the download link arrived in my inbox. This is absolutely the best I have felt about buying an album EVER! Not only do I absolutely love the band and the music, I'm also in love with the way they are going about this; and the download is even DRM-free. To say that this is HUGE is an understatement -- this is changing everything. Apparently Trent Reznor and NIN are going the same way too.
