Putting Quotes into Context

theo47says...

uh...horseshit.
1. The Vatican and Christianity in general has no place talking about "reason". Example:
2. The quote that inflamed the anger was "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -- having come out of his mouth, they are perfectly in context. Just because he's quoting someone else doesn't make it out of the context of the point he was trying to make.

I don't believe in God and I don't really like this pope compared to the one before, even if he already was against condoms or some other modern things...
But I'm really fed up by the reactions in islamist countries to what happens elsewhere... When the drawings of Mohamet were published in Danmark, they were not published in Iran ! When the pope tells whatever he wants, he's not telling it in Pakistan !
We have laws in our western countries, our ancestors died to get those rights called freedom of speech or press, and it's destinated to western countries citizens, so what the hell are they messing up in their streets to some things which happened thousands of miles away ? We should respect their beliefs when they shouting to criticize our rights ?
Do we burn their flags when they threaten us ?

FUCK EXTREMISM !

Hey freeper, virtualawrence, why don't you come defend you one OF TWO videos submitted here?

This is pure propaganda with its origins in thepeoplescube.com which spouts such gems as, "Golden Boy Armstrong Showers French with Test Samples" and "Mullahs and Liberals Not That Different!"... With brilliance and thoughtful insight as that webpage which is a fecal smear of freeper madness, we get this wonderful, edutaitional youtube video.

This piece of crap website is related to protestwarrior.com, powerlineblog.com, frontpagemag.com, and its origins communistsforkerry.com

This was a lame group that faked photos and connected to protestwarriors which is a sad, sad group of freepers that mistake hatred and racism for cleverness.

Don't listen to this freeper-turf

I have a serious problem with this. If people want to pass judgment on a whole creed they should source the facts for themselves, not base arguments on extremist propaganda. It's much easier to point out differences than similarities. We should not listen to the wankers who spout out bollocks the loudest.

Farhad2000says...

Am sorry but this is stupid. You're going to take what some extremist believe and spin it as if all Muslims are the same. Am muslim, I didn't go protest over the cartoons or anything else.
