Heh Heh, situations like this always remind me of the old joke:-

Mother walks into her teenage son's bedroom to put the laundry away & catches him playing the "five finger shuffle", furious at this, she storms downstairs to her husband, tells him what she saw & demanded that he runs upstairs & tells his son what a filthy little swine he is. So hubby runs up, marches into the bedroom straight up to the bed, points his finger & yells "If you keep doing that you horrible little sh*t, you'll go BLIND!!"

.........Voice in the other corner of the room (behind him) says "I'm over here Dad"

Or, you could not put it in the religion channel because it's not religion.

Well, she claims to be able to talk to people who are dead. I would say that religion is the origin of the idea that the dead aren't dead, but magical sheets that roam around so people like this can get paid to talk to them. I'm supporting religion on this.

No but spirituality and superstitions aren't by themselves religion, or we would all each belong to hundreds of different religions. That someone tries to talk to ghosts or whatever they do doesn't naturally follow that they're religious or they deal in religious matters. The mere idea that our near and dear live on in some other form after they pass on in their current one is something which, I would imagine, predates religion as an institution by several millenia.

@Kreegath

What makes religion religion instead of law, philosophy, politics, history, fiction etc.? Belief in the supernatural. Nuff said.

edit: religion is superstitious beliefs institutionalised.
