Rupert Sheldrake's work is fascinating, even his peers who criticised his work recreated many of his experiments and got exactly the same results.

This is the first of his books I read and I can highly recommend it, especially to anyone who has a pet.

Most of Sheldrake's evidence is anecdotal and when carried out in proper test conditions repeats of his 'experiments' results are the same as expected by chance. Not entirely.. they could try approaching the experiment with different mindsets in regard to how much they believe what they're trying for WILL happen. Intent affects outcome. And it's hard to test, measure, or experiment with ideas OUTSIDE of contemporary science, with the standard procedures and conventional methods OF contemporary science. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, but they also require extraordinary methods and technology to obtain those proofs. Which we don't currently have.

Then again, I'm pretty stoned.
