CaptainObvioussays...That was pretty intense!
You know that guy was totally sweating and sick to his belly realizing the cop isn't going anywhere and he just screwed up at an epic level.
With every minute getting so much worse.
I hate that feeling.
messengersays...It's one of the greatest feelings in the world when you get away. :>

Yogisays...As soon as you hear that siren you gotta make a choice...either run or pull over. Runnings fine but don't let him ever get close enough to see your license plate. If he does, you pull over and try the whole "I didn't hear you cause of my helmet" thing. If you run though you have to never let him get close, duck into alleys, use cars that he can't get around, hell use your obvious speed advantage he can never catch you unless he's in a Ferrari. Also don't bother running if you can't ride really well, you'll just be putting your life and other peoples lives in danger, know your skill level and the streets and if you're not getting away, give up peacefully before you crash.
I've got no problem running from the cops, but you gotta be smart about it.
EDIT: Oh and never underestimate hiding, get some distance and cut off behind a bush or barricade and wait for him to pass by. Then take off your jacket or change if you can and find a DIFFERENT Route to work or wherever.
CreamKsays...Yup, it's not that hard to escape with a bike. You need to have skills and practice too, haven't had a ride in years so wouldn't thought of it now. But back in my youth it was pretty common to run away, never got caught.. I did have crossbike so cutting thru forest and parks was always an option that slow diesel WV van couldn't take.. Bikes are so small and nimble, brakedistances are short, quick acceleration, only tight cornering can be done faster in 4 wheels. I think his shortcoming was to choose a freeway and not having balls/power to grow the gap so you can take an exit.
