Pluto 1930 - 2006 ... Prediction or Coincidence?

LadyBugsays...

we must be related then, dag! i faithfully watched this show and felt that i was really a part of it. i miss this show a lot ... so i'll hop in the 'sad boat' with you! lol

i just felt like it was so real. i could totally relate to the characters and their feelings. my all time fav scene was when nate and brenda had that huge fight (after she smoked pot and then screwed the kid on the bike).

anyway ... i can't get too sad now!

Pluto was officially un-planetized last week, but it's been a long time coming. "Pluto is a dwarf planet in the solar system, having been formerly considered the ninth planet from the Sun until it was reclassified on August 24, 2006 according to the International Astronomical Union's (IAU) redefinition of the term "planet".[1] Pluto is likely to become separately classified as the prototype of a yet-to-be-named family of trans-Neptunian objects.[2][3]"- Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pluto

The last episode was probably the most amazing TV I've seen. I loved the way they closed it off, with no hope for a sequel/spin-off. They let the show "die" which was appropriate to the theme..

Sorry, I figured it has been out long enough that any spoilers would be moot. But I have to say, the way they worked in the UFO aduction in the last 5 minutes of the last episode was fantastic.
