Penn & Teller "Shadows" Trick - Amazing

An amazing and elegant trick. If anyone knows how this is done, tell me. No, don't. Yeah, I need to know. No.. it'd ruin it..

Anyway, great magic trick.

On some bit about Penn & Teller on YouTube, someone referred to Teller as Penn's "assistant". Nothing could be further from the truth. They are partners, but when asked, Penn will say that Teller is the much more skilled magician. They have a pose as the "bad boys of magic" and how mainstream magicians hate them, but the truth is they don't reveal any tricks they themselves didn't invent...and it's usually only as a step on the way to the real trick. For instance, they invented a completely new method to do the classic cups and balls. This is a magic trick that may be thousands of years old - and they invent a new way to do it.

cant this simply be a rigged flower, where one can control its falling apart by remote control?

seems like it'd be easy to just have a trick flower, and sync up the falling petals with teller's movements with the knife...

I wish I could see the whole thing without the pointless distraction of George going on about how he cried and whatnot. The blood thing doesn't make any sense if I can't see the whole act.

It would be lame, but maybe they have an assistant who pulls cords connected to the flower pot, which release flowers. Or the vase has some clockwork in it and it's just a matter of good timing.
