Phreezdrydsays...Awesome...stop using the word "christian" altogether. Put every candidates specific religious affiliation next to their name, and let them go at each other. Maybe their handlers are too smart to let that happen, but if you repeat it enough, the voters will be thinking about it.
We already see the occasional public division, like one church decides a woman priest is okay. Wasn't it the catholic church specifically with the pedophilia problem? Divide and conquer.
Jinxsays...If you put religious affiliation next to their names then you'll never have an athiest prez.
I'd say Christian was a improvement from all the denominations. I want that word to get broader and broader, just as Penn suggests, until it effectively loses all meaning because it doesn't denominate anything. The problem here isn't that religious people all go together and ganged up on us non-believers, they'd all have done that anyway in their separate camps, its that atheism is excluded, that it us seen as some sort of moral deficiency when it couldn't be further from the truth. Less division please, not more.
Or you know, lets hope religion dies.
