The old has the following YouTube statement:
"This is a private video. If you have been sent this video, please make sure you accept the sender's friend request."
joedirtI personally think we should fix the orig, and call this a dupe.
Is deathcow still checking comments?

deathcowit wont let me fix my video because of this video
joedirt*blog --> anyone want to do some editting?
Original video is still alive but has dead link. Should original video be fixed (which it cannot because of duplicate URLs) Or does new video stay because no one fixed the older broken video in time? What if the olcder post had been discarded? (Can it be saved and replaced with working video) What is the VS ruling? Fix older original submissions, or just get working videos into queues?
So, technically, this should be discarded and then deathcow can fix his video(?) Judges?
deathcowWOw will I revert back to a tarnished color star from my shiny silver? I dont think I could take that kind of rejection. (starts whistling manically) I need to clean my rifle.
siftbotSending this video to the blog for discussion (sent by gold star member joedirt)
bnsaJoedirt: That's a good point. Perhaps there should be a 30 day rule to allow time for a person to go back and fix a dead or changed link.
Imagine if a link has 100+ votes but is no longer available at point A (but is available at point B). If after a certain time it's still dead, then isn't it fair game for the new poster? Perhaps we can notify the person that their link is dead by email (or push of a button)... a courtesy email from siftbot the same way SB emails us about comments.
What do you guys think?
KrupoEither that, or a *merge command, discussed earlier... ehm, what does Darth Vader have to say about this?
