Beautifully stylized story of a boy and the bizarre looking creature he discovers. He sets out to find a place for it in a distopian, hauntingly surreal little world. Narrated by Tim Minchin, Directed by Shaun Tan and Andrew Ruheman

The Lost Thing is the 2011 Academy Award Winner for Best Animated Short Film. The video is available from Itunes.
