Ofra Haza - Im Nin'alu

Extraordinary Yeminite-Jewish singer Ofra Haza. This song is from her 1984 album, 'Yeminite Songs', and was her biggest hit internationally. Tragically, she died of complications from the AIDS virus in 2000 at the age of 42.

Actually, the original version of this song was released in 1984. It was more raw, less 'disco-tized' and, IMHO, better. This version is from 1988.

I'm a sucker for good female vocals. It doesn't hurt that our Semitic siren is rather comely too. Such a shame about her death.
