Commenting on the revelations that several Arab leaders are urging the United States to attack Iran, Chomsky says, "latest polls show] Arab opinion holds that the major threat in the region is Israel, that's 80 percent; the second threat is the United States, that's 77 percent. Iran is listed as a threat by 10 percent," Chomsky says. "This may not be reported in the newspapers, but it's certainly familiar to the Israeli and U.S. governments and the ambassadors. What this reveals is the profound hatred for democracy on the part of our political leadership."

shagen454We all know that Chomeister has some biased slant to the way he views the world. Regardless, he is one of the few innovative political writers that speaks from fact and fact only. He doesn't speak in a way that is his opinion - he speaks truths that he can back up with citation. One of the reasons I like him - he isn't Michael Moore creating humor/drama, he isn't Colbert or Stewart picking little pieces of the news and turning them into satirical gems... no... Chomsky is just a dry witted academic that can slowly peel back all of the layers of lies and propaganda that you live by only using facts.

You must be an idiot if you think a one line quote from Chomsky, taken out of context, is a "lie", and the real "Truth" can be represented in 2 sentence paragraph, with "facts" taken from sources that are themselves unreliable/speculations/out of date/taken out of context.
But then, the quality of your sources and your level of critical thinking is just as bad as I expected.
