Clumsysays...I don't see why this is interesting - if he's using a tool assist, who cares?

it's to show that the game is taking completely incorrect answers as correct. 9 + 5 apparently = 1up mushroom.
rgroom1says...Yeah, but if you're actually playing the game, and writing numbers, it definitely detects wrong answers, and sometimes even wrongly identifies right answers.
I call haxorz
flechettesays...The detection programming is iffy at best. Apparently if the answer is supposed to be 7, a single pixel will work, unless the answer is supposed to be 6, in which case... a single pixel also works. There was a work in progress video of this same game by the same author that showed a lot more geometric patterns, and one answer he used was to fill the answer board entirely in black. Not a hacked ROM, just awkward programming.
kuerteesays...the drawings are too good/perfect - even pixel perfect.
it's not that easy to draw - even with a digital pen.
i'm a little suspicious of it.
flechettesays...It's a tool-assisted recording, so it's going to be pixel perfect. This was done frame by frame. Also please note the 52 thousand re-records. Each one of those means (in some way) 'Woops, didn't work, need to go back a step and try again.' This isn't a real-time playthough of the game.
siftbotsays...Moving this video to flechette's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
