This is the Bye ye Beautiful song from Latest album - It was written by Tuomas as a way of venting his frustration at the whole TarjaGate thing, and I way to get some closure :)

Nightwish is a Finnish female-fronted symphonic power metal quintet, formed in 1996 in the town of Kitee, Finland. Nightwish is considered one of the bands responsible for the development and rise in popularity of symphonic metal at the end of the 1990s, as well as the creation of the subgenre symphonic power metal.[1]

I'm sensing a lot of Live and Let Die in this, but beside that I loved Nightwish' edge before, but I think they sort of lost it, when Tarja was kicked.

I dunno what it is, the change in direction/lead singer or just the fact I've started liking more intricate riffage but Nightwish is starting to sound distinctly mainstream and monotonous to me.
