We've heard a lot from Mr Dawkins, and he's fun and all, but I think this guy is a far better salesman for the benefits of science. Unlike the aforementioned's method of simply belittling you for believing in a higher power/creator.

This is an exerpt from the Beyond Belief discussion, which I believe has been linked elsewhere. Quite large downloads (roughly 200meg each), but is recommended viewing!

The part on "stupid design" was submitted once by me and disappeared and resubmitted again recently.
I think this pretty much counts as a dupe.
