VoodooVYou do know that it's impossible to "preserve" culture, right? It's always changing...ALWAYS. Anyone who claims to be trying to preserve culture...always fails.
"preserving the status quo" has typically been the rallying cry of people who don't like "The Other"
And yeah, it's pretty much the definition of racist/bigot to make a sweeping generalization about a group based on purely that group's identifier.
Trancecoachwhat's with all the smacking of his lips? Can he string more than a couple sentences together without smacking his lips or tongue?
A10anisWell said - apart from the Blair bit - should have been said 30 years ago. Sadly, now, it is too late.
JustSayingIf you want to preserve your country's culture and people, take a photograph. They never change, no matter how much time passed.
Even when they're beheading babies in Eaton Square.
CreamKWe have to deal with this crap for the next twenty years, until my generation of 40 somethings are retired. Our parents didn't have any experience about different cultures, they were the first teens, equality between genders were solidified against the ways of the previous generation.. Our job is to teach our children how to make multiculturalism work, even if we don't understand it our self.
People need to remember that this is happening in an unprecedented pace. Society changes slower than we think. But that is not an excuse of not trying to make it work.
Jinxsays..."My People"
Sadly I think a lot will buy into this chumps "Us vs Them" narrative. Its so much easier to see the world in black and white than deal with all the complexities of grey...
My people dont include this guy at any rate.
