Kendo! Ill post one of Kenjutsu if i can find a good video! Kendo is fencing sport, kenjutsu is the practical use of the sword. Really cant practice one with out the other.

Sorry, don't mean to be a Negative Nancy but I'd just think that associating videos very vaguely to certain genres kind of defeats the purpose of having Videosift channels. If a user wanted to look at only comedy/geek videos.. it's kind of trivial to have a Kendo match there... /just my opinion tag away for I care

Yeah I don't really think it belongs in comedy, *nochannel, I put it in geek originally because I know tons of geeks that are infatuated with the Japanese samurai. I still stand by that decision, someone else can regeek it if they agree.

It took me a while to figure out why they were yelling at each other, but they are feigning their attacks. It sounds weird but i've seen kendo matches that last a while with out a single attack ever happening, just a lot of yelling. I know its weird but its kind of funny.

The actual winning blow is pretty much incomprehensible. It happens so fast, and the difference between it and earlier feints are so slight... meh.

Give me UFC anyday... then at least I know who's winning (he's the guy on the top.)

Unless its Brazilian Ju Jitsu, then the guy on bottom can win to...
