gaffaMike Jittlov is the creator of many inventive short films and one feature length movie using many forms of special effects animation, including stop-motion animation, rotoscoping, and pixilation. The Wizard of Speed and Time feature-length film, released to theaters in 1987 and to video in 1989 and based on his 1979 short film of the same name, is his best-known work.

SnakePlisskenVote up for his endearing perma-grin.
Farhad2000This is amazing.
k8_fansays...What is even more amazing is that all this pre-dates computer graphics. The scene where he was running along the wall was done by jumping up on the wall, and shooting a single frame of film at that instant.
antDudes, he is copying Flash.
Goofball_Jonessays...I remember seeing this in bars in the 80's that would have a TV up showing weird stuff. And then I'd see it on Night Flight (remember that late-night show I think USA network back in like 1990 or so?). I think they also built a movie around this whole sequence too.

viewer_999I don't know what the hell that was. But I absolutely loved it.
