Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay after the fact, my girlfriend confirms: that is a Tae Kwon Do tournament.

Glad there is always an abundance of commenters eager to share their knowledge of everything/anything, even when that knowledge is largely irrelevant.
