legacy0100says...I
FUCKING
HATE
INSECTS
silvercordsays...This spider is not an insect. It is an arachnid that would make you wet your pants (or worse) if you were to ever see it hanging out over your bed.
Do I really want to go to Australia?
Sc
maatcsays...they eat the mozzies. much better than a gecko...
moodoniasays...I dreaded finding a big spider in my house when I lived in Australia. Finding a harmonica sized cockroach in my bed was bad enough. Huntsmans are relatively harmless though compared to the rest of the Spider mob over there. I was looking out for them and could only find some big garden spiders. Though I did have a jumping spider jump on my chest whilst I climbed a ladder. Not fun!
8727says...not an insect, jeeez.

siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Downunder) - requested by maatc.
gharksays...I've had a couple of big spidies come inside since i've been in Aus, 1 in Sydney and 3 since i've been in QLD. It's scary as hell, especially when they start moving. None were quite as big as this one though, poor chap.
KnivesOutsays...He just wants to juicy bugs, or maybe a small bird, to munch on.
Leave him alone, spiders are our garden friends!
