Sagemindsays...I've watched a lot of Roasts lately but there is a trend I seem to be missing.
I thought thought a roast was when you got up and roasted/made fun of the person of honor, aka - the roastee - How come on all these roast shows, everyone roasts everyone EXCEPT the person they are honoring? Why are they making fun of the other roasters?
Feel free to set me straight if I'm wrong here, or just give me the answers I'm looking for - Thnx
grintersays...Who is Larry The Cable Guy?
quantumushroomsays...I've seen a few of these modern roasts and also the Dean Martin Roasts from the 70s. Although there's a guest/victim of honor who does get roasted, it's normal for each person at the podium to rip on everyone else. Also, at the end, the "roastee" gets to fire back.
grinter FTW.
