I can not overstate the impact I feel it would have if everyone was familiar with logical fallacies. I've become pretty familiar with them over the past 2 years and it has made it so much easier for me to pick out bullshit.

It's an easy case to make, but she makes it well.

Maddow should ask why her ratings and MSNBC's in general are so bad. I betcha it's because nobody likes to watch a close minded snarky liberal who wears the same outfit everyday like she was Chairman Mao. +1 goes to O'Reilly again.

Maybe that's why FOX Entertainment has high ratings--the majority of the people are willfully ignorant, easily-brainwashed, intellectually devoid idiots who lack the ability to form their own opinions, and, therefore, rely on organizations such as Fox to tell them what they think because the world is just so darned confusing and hostile. That, and they're lazy, and thinking for themselves seems like over-exertion.

Or it could be that people are just afraid to admit certain things about themselves and the world around them...
