Kruposays...courtesy Matt Good's blog: http://matthewgood.org/2006/07/bombs-online/
Recorded by Beezer, who continues to blog about the unfolding war: http://lebanonlive.blogspot.com/
I apologize in advance for the poor quality of the footage from the recording, but it's probably a Good Thing that the videographer was as far away as he was.
I'm posting this video more for the circumstances surrounding its recording (it's an unfiltered first-hand look at what's going on) vs. the absolute quality of the footage (hope/pray that we won't get to see more "better" footage in the coming days!)
Please refer to Matt Good's blog for context and Beezer for continuing updates.
ravensays...I voted for this not because it is a good video quality-wise, but because I think it is interesting that the technology of today allows for amateur, non-news network coverage of violent conflict. I wonder, will it change the way the world views war?
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
Not much to see, but the very amateurness of it does give you an idea of what the videoer was feeling. I think I would react in a similar way.
Kruposays...raven/dag: my sentiments exactly; if anything, the shock/fear(?) in Beezer's voice is what's more crucial than the visual image itself
