I'm not sure exactly what you're asking...

I don't know anything about the machine, I just happened to find the video. Maybe the person at the etsy shop could answer questions about it.

Why would someone cut maps into sheets of metal? (Sorry, that question was vague...) But maybe the answer is the same as @ant's question -- go ask etsy.

I'll go poke around etsy.

I think it's supposed to be art or decoration, don't think it would work in my house but it might look good in the right decor or maybe at a business.

I poked around. Nothing was said. I got a distinct feeling of OCD from that site....
