eric3579says...Trying to curb a bad behavior in a child by creating or allowing them to be traumatized by fear is imo lazy and or poor parenting. Seems like a good way to damage a childs trust of a parent. Then again ive never been a parent so...
longdesays...Considering he could be locked up and/or beaten and/or killed by the cops or neighborhood watch for much less, it's probably great parenting to condition him to be overly paranoid about the consequences of bad behavior.
L0ckysays...Either way, that was hilarious!
eric3579says...All of this is just my personal opinion.
I just keep thinking the kid is gonna walk away thinking his moms a liar and just intentionally scared the shit out of him. I don't think he would learn anything about consequences of bad behavior. Also I don't believe its worth the trade off of potentially damaging the trust of your child.
Just seems like an end justifies the means kind of argument. Parents who hit their children also justify it in the name of curbing bad behavior. It may work but imo also lazy and or bad parenting.
Im guessing the way one parents, or believes in what proper parenting is, has much to do about the way they were raised and varies greatly. I think most parents do the best they can.
... although i did laugh at first.
lucky760says...Screaming, crying, scared child.
Fucking hilarious.
lullaby_lunesays...I approve of the channel choices. And the absence of "comedy." Yikes.
siftbotsays...Moving this video to pumkinandstorm's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
pumkinandstormsays...*beg
siftbotsays...Sending this video to Beggar's Canyon to plea for a little attention - beg requested by original submitter pumkinandstorm.
billybusseysays...wow, you all don't know what you're talking about. Lying to your kids (so long as they find out the truth shortly after) is one of the best ways to teach them how to sense bullshit and understand the world. This has nothing to do with laziness. Why don't you keyboard parents go watch some of your friends kids and you'll see what I mean. There's a reason it's hilarious to us, nature knows it's a good thing.
