I'm not sure but there are a lot of good melodic parts in there, then it clashes with some awful sounding crap.

Maybe I don't know enough about this kind of music.

I know that teachers of music often tell students to inject a little personality into the performance, but her performance seems far too exaggerated and contrived, I enjoyed the music but I couldn't watch her play, it was too annoying.

It's like... 'I'm hitting a key now so i'm going to thrust my head forward violently to show how passionate I am about hitting this key....'

under the same logic i should make stupid faces when drilling or window cleaning or doing annything so fucking stupid.

I understand making stupid faces or spazaming muscles when doing a complex task i often stick my toung out when concentraiting i totaly get subconchouse muscle responses that accour . but people perposfully doing retarded stuff that dose nothing to benofit the performance should be smacked.
