This is awesome! Hilarious AND a perfect display of what an asshole Carson really was. Doesn't look like the exchange between him and Rickles was all jokes. Can't believe this didn't get a sift first time around.

^ I disagree. I think this shows what a comic genius and master of improv Carson was. Rickles is known for being crass and a fast talker and Johnny had him on his back foot the whole time. Letterman, O'Brien, or even that chump Leno would have scripted and rehearsed the whole thing.
