EMPIREsays...This is really good. Anything that humanizes criminals, instead of treating them like filth or invisible ghosts is a good thing, and a step in the right direction towards rehabilitation.
I am curious about something though. I wonder if creating this environment of humor and fun has some impact on violence between inmates in the jail where he performed (even if temporary).
Esoogsays...Well, it actually already did...I think they said these inmates had to have zero behavioral incidents for 30 days prior to this event in order to attend. And they said they were shocked by the high number that qualified.
But I also get what youre saying...a longer term study for the after-effects would be interesting too.
