budzosCharming, well-executed, and informative with a high signal to noise ratio. Nontheless it has me wondering if I'm gullible because of the shift into what must be total satire in the last twenty seconds.
Is there another clip like this that demonstrates the protocol for bowing in cases outside of apology? There must be a set of rules for how much respect you're supposed to show people. There's a couple cigar shops and stuff around here where the owners tend to bow to me after giving my change. I usually bow back with slightly less emphasis, which seems to please them and also seems appropriate if I understand the culture correctly.
plastiquemonkeysatire starts with the way he does the deep bow. it's teaching how to apologize, not just how to bow.
but it's satire by the rahmens (japanese comedy duo).
and it's a dupe: http://www.videosift.com/video/Apologizing-The-Japanese-Tradition
