Technically, under the terms of their constitution, the Japanese aren't supposed to have a military so they call these guys the Self-Defense Forces instead. As the commercial suggests, they couldn't much defend themselves from a strong wind let alone a real military threat. In fact, in the past month, thanks to gross incompetence, the Self-Defense Navy has been involved in two boat collisions with civilian vessels, one of which resulted in the deaths of two people.
