Audition scene from Lynch's film, Mulholland Drive (2001)-This tune, 'Every Little Star', with music by Jerome Kern and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, was published in 1932. The song was first introduced in the musical play, 'Music in the Air'. It was a 1961 hit performed by Linda Scott, titled "I've Told Every Little Star," which reached number three on the U.S. Pop charts and also reached the top ten in New Zealand and South Africa. This scene from Lynch's film features Melissa George's lip synch to Scott's chart-topping 61' hit single
