I really didn't want to upvote for this simply because of the ubiquitous state of this song.

Good call, this is freakin insane!

I upvote as it's some fine guitar work, but it's by no means the best cover, and it doesn't top the original. Simply because part of the joy of the song is the wonderfully sung chorus. Without the chorus being sung it loses something.
