This is for you my friend. I know it's hard when you don't feel that you can truly be yourself. It's easy to hate on the people who you secretly would love to be able to embrace into your life. But you know, it's ok sugar, watch this vid. I hope it helps you to make the right decision :)

funny. and yeah, that's my suspicion when i see anti-gay rants like his.

why else would they invest such strong emotions in it?

in my experience, the opposite of love isn't hate, but indifference.

eye opener. Whats the population of america? 0.45? 0.5 billion?. 300 thousand gays. I assume thats the approx same percentage for the human race at large.

US population is about 305.4 million, NYC alone is about 8 million.

Also not gonna say they're completely wrong with the guys are hornier than women bit, but I think their line of logic is missing one important thing, there is still a huge social stigma towards same sex couples being out in public. In many parts of the country it's almost an open invitation to violence or at the least harassment. So these discreet hook-ups are the best way to avoid that kind of thing.

In my opinion men's natural tendency towards multiple partners is exaggerated in the gay community because of the oppressive social climate. So much so I think it's been ingrained into the actual culture.

I just think it's really simple. Generalising, but gay men have/want more sex because they are two males. And we all know most guys would have waaay more sex than women can keep up with. Stick two men together with that testosterone fuelled sex drive and I believe you have your answer

A study was done to see if straight, homophobic men had more homosexual tendencies than straight, non-homophobic men. A survey determined who was homophobic and who wasn't. All the men were strapped to a device that measured penis growth. The men were shown, one at a time and alone in a room, a random assortment of pictures that depicted either homosexual porn, heterosexual porn, or nonsexual images (e.g., kittens).

Thankfully, no one got a chubby because of the kittens. All of the men exhibited growth when presented heterosexual porn. These findings were expected.

NONE of the non-homophobic men exhibited growth when presented with homosexual porn, yet ALL of the homophobic men did. Now, the growth wasn't as pronounced as it was for the heterosexual porn (my psych professor actually used the word "semi"), but it was there -- for all of them.

Obviously, penis growth doesn't necessarily mean arousal, but it definitely poses quite a few questions.

Its easy to convince a guy to have sex, that's a no-brainer.

Convincing a chick to have sex with you, that's a little... harder (so to speak).

But in my experience, those who are the most vocal, the most homophobic, tend to be repressing their true desires out of fear of stigma amongst their circle of friends.

Just like with the perceived vs actual differences in strength between men and women, there is a disparity between the perceived vs actual classification of sexuality. People tend to perceive others as either exclusively heterosexual or exclusively homosexual, but the reality is that sexuality is not so binary.
