In Flames is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 1990. The band is considered to be a pioneer and major influence to the melodic death metal music genre. Since the band's conception in 1990, they have received numerous awards and released nine studio albums and one live DVD. The band has enjoyed increased popularity in recent years, both in its native Sweden and internationally. To date the band has sold over two million records worldwide.

This is great but man did this band sell out in the end, I remember seeing them live in Montreal and disliking almost every song, the atmosphere was great though. I miss them making songs like 'Metaphor'.

What I was going to say. I can't say I completely hate their new stuff, but it's clear that they've somewhat simplified their melody structure and modified their vocal style to make it more radio-friendly. I hear it's paid off for them too. Oh and awesomely hilarious and non-sensical music video by the way

Whats up with the video? It's a mash-up of all their other vids =p
