Why does this feel more like a scare tactic video?

Sure - they are sharing the obviously good advice but nothing we all don't already know on instinct.

I'm not worried because I used my "Active Shooting Event Deterrent" spray that I bought at Wal-Mart, and it's worked so far.

I prefer the John Mcclane approach.
