How psychics work - Uri Geller is a fraud

Uri Geller was supposed to guess either a word or a number in Criss' envelope, so he starts spewing out random numbers and words before Criss opens it.

Disclaimer:
I'm posting this video to show the great lengths you need to go to believe he has psychic powers, not to claim the 1 million prize for him.
LordOderussays...

Uri should not get the money. He said a bunch of numbers in random succession so that it would seem like he knew what it was after the reveal. The fact is, if he knew it was 911, he should have, and would have, said 911. Instead he just started spouting numbers in a chaotic fashion. yeah he said 1 twice, oooooh he's some sort of witch! He also said 40, how does that factor into 911? He said 19, is that supposed to be part of 911, but backward? Do psychics get visions mirrored?

It's just like Nostrodamus, his predictions only work when they're made to fit things that have already happened.

neteansays...

Uri Geller is a clever man, he's made a boat load of money from conning people into believing he has "special" powers. Yet, clearly by his inability to use his "gifts" in clinical settings he's just doing the same tricks every other magician does - although to be fair, he does do them well!
