Very interesting documentary - in all the discussions about global warming, this is the first time I have heard about the dimming issue.

Guh! Just once I want to watch a modern science show that doesen't have continuously ominous droning background music, that doesn't end every sentance with penultimate apocalyptic intonation "xxxxxxx...was an EVEN BIGGER SHOCK" or "to thier surprise xxxxxx WAS A KILLER!!". If everything is dramatic then NOTHING is dramatic.

How else do you make the meek listen?

Saw a Nova episode addressing the same so-called life-threatening dilemma, with the host about to expire from the shear humanity of it all, with a buncha yahoos to back up the gravity of the worlds plight......worlds problem is not warming, cooling, famines or looting, it's man's stupidity and ego that fucks us all-oh yeah, and periodic natural warming-up and cooling-off periods, regardless of puny humans and their influence....

Dude, if you watched the video, you would learn that pollution causes a 10% reduction in sunlight hitting the earth in some areas. 10% seems like a fucking lot to me.

Sadly, I don't think you need to hold onto your hate for progressive science, since most people safely ignore it on their own.

Perception, again, no hate involved, perosnal observation and editorializing without acting or reacting, or, cranking out factoid snidbits.....unlike, the "Watch and Learn" technique.

Try thinking in millenian, non-linear terms, when you talk about this planet, sir- then, Global Warming will cover the sofa, to gaurd her delicate upholstery for years to come for the childrens' children of your childrens' childrens',
mutant children...
