High Fructose Corn Syrup

Let's get the facts straight about the nutritive sweeteners (sugars). I will not defend HFCS; it is just as bad as sucrose or honey or fruit juice. It may even be ever so slightly worse for the following reasons:
1. Industry like to use it.
2. It's a bit cheaper, thanks to US corn policies.
3. We love to eat it.
but the root of the problem is the collision of our biology (we love sweetness) and our economic system (companies will sell what we will buy). What's needed is some self-awareness, some discipline, and some education about health risks.

That's my goal with this video. I'm not here to point the finger of blame. I'm not here to offer scare tactics or corporate apologetics. These are the facts, as well as my take on the issue.

Yeeeeeeah. No one's gonna pay attention to this.

That's why i'll go about this the smart why and just trick mofos in to eat and drink mainly glucose.

I keep wondering if the Fructose dilemma will ever go mainstream. There are some pretty huge corporate special interests that are going to try to keep this issue muddled. See the HFCS ads that act all insulted and self-righteous.

Nothing new for me here, but I eagerly wait for the non nutritive sweeteners video.

"Researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health '...have re-created the mysterious Colony Collapse Disorder in several honeybee hives simply by giving them small doses of a popular pesticide, imidacloprid.' This follows recently-reported studies also linked the disorder to neonicotinoid pesticides. What is really interesting is the link to when the disorder started appearing, 2006. 'That mechanism? High-fructose corn syrup. Many bee-keepers have turned to high-fructose corn syrup to feed their bees, which the researchers say did not imperil bees until U.S. corn began to be sprayed with imidacloprid in 2004-2005. A year later was the first outbreak of Colony Collapse Disorder.'"
