Heather Risman Controls Books In Canada

Indigo Books Controls most of the books that Canadians read. They are Canada's Largest Book Retailer and borders on preditory marketing over other bookstores.

Chapers / Indigo / Coles / SmithBooks / Book Warehouse / Worlds Biggest Bookstore, has Banned "Mein Kampf" (old news) from their stores because the CEO (Heather Reisman) is Jewish. By her own admission, she has never read the book. She also continues to personaly edit out many books that don't corrispond with her conservative views making them unavailable to most Canadians.

Channels: I'm calling politics on this because She IS Big Business and has her hand in the cookie jar! She controls the majority of written material in Canada! (Heather's Family net worth of approximately eight hundred million dollars as of 2001 - I can't find updated stats)
Stormsingersays...

I can appreciate the issue, but I'm pretty sure that Amazon sells to Canadians...so I can't see how her act of personally selecting her inventory makes books "unavailable to most Canadians". It may mean that getting those books takes some slight extra effort, although even that's arguable...it's hard to be easier than delivery-to-your-door. And Amazon's prices meet or beat any brick and mortar store I know of.

Am I overlooking something here that makes this a bigger deal than it appears?
