Hate-mongering radio host Bill Cunningham attacks Obama at a McCain event by painting him as a supporter of terrorists. To save face McCain was forced to apologize because Cunningham's remarks were so outrageous.

What is even more bizarre is that CNN replayed this rant so the nation could hear it....they replayed the whole rant. It's not like this guy is going to lose his job.

At least minor kudos are due to McCain for not trying to put any spin on it. Just accepting responsibility and apologizing is a big step for Republicans these days. No excuses, no bullshit.
