Hand-Drawn Quake 1

NPR Quake (Non-PhotoRealistic) is a a rendering engine for the classic FPS game Quake. The video is the first part of E1M1, instantly recognizable by all original Quake fans. I think the style suits it well!

If you're interested in trying out the daddy of all multiplayer games, it is available for purchase for $9.99 on Steam or through other means. You'll need a modern client to give the game a facelift, nQuake does the job nicely!

This reminds me of the A-Ha video Take On Me. In fact, I can almost hear that music as I watch it.

I have the engine installed and could make & edit a demo, however no self-linking on the sift, right?

This clip is way too short but it's the only one I could find!

I knew there was no way I would be the first to invoke the legendary take on me video, but all of you? -grin- Awesome clip!
