shuacMeh, why can't he make such a system where the dowels are attached to the rubber bands, thus releasing the blade and only the blade? Better yet, get rid of the rubber bands altogether in favor of a gas-pressurized system that incorporates a reloading, semi-auto kind of thing.
westyBe allot better if it shot side on so it flew like a frizby
residueman how could you ever be comfortable a: loading that thing b: shooting it with your hand right under the "barrel"
MorganthPersonally, I can't see at all how this might end badly.
MorganthOh yeah, *timeshift.
Also, it might be better if he engineered a way for the wooden handles to detach once the blade has left the sling.
siftbotAdding video to channels (Timeshift) - requested by Morganth.
kymbosI think you're all being a bit judgemental. After all, he is wearing protective goggles...
steroidgsays...We need a Zero-point energy field manipulator... aka Gravity gun.
RyjkyjI just can't support this video. What if children see this? They're going to think that shooting circular saw blades out of giant, homemade slingshots is OK. I'm not sure of the injury statistics on this one but my gut tells me they're dangerous. You might think it's funny now, but what happens when the neighbor comes over to tell you that your child embedded a saw blade into their cat?
spacemansays...That face he makes at 1:58 is priceless.
handmethekeysyousays...If you just want to see him shoot it : skip to 1:55.
If you want to see him shoot it into a watermelon : skip to 2:25.
If you want to see something worthwhile : skip it.
