Okay, the chick is cute, environmentally conscious and deliciously nerdy... but really, what are you getting out of this? One meal of vegetables a month if you are lucky (and I'm being really generous there).

Don't get me wrong, it is a very cool thing and I support doing it, but I'm not sure it is exactly going to be providing much food to anyone at this rate of production. It's more of a hobby than a practical food source. Well, unless this chick only eats once every month and a half.

I wonder what her lighting system is.

Would work perfectly for a herb garden, though.

Window food is going to make some good *cooking.
