Ok, it didn't actually win, but it bloody should have.

At least now people on facebook will stop harassing me to vote for the damn thing, and I can just enjoy it for the bit of sporting genius it is.

There have been a few comments to the effect that the winning goal was against much higher quality opposition, in a much more important game, etc.

None of which matters in this case IMO. It was a single piece of individual brilliance and I don't think it would have made any difference what team she was playing against.

But of course it should go to the professionals, what do you think this is, an award for sporting merit?
