Not trying to be racist or anything, but I've found that Africans are very different from African-Americans. It's something about them that gives more depth, and feel like they do appreciate all the good things in life.

I've had a couple of native African friends. Most of them becomes 'Americanized' when they come in contact with the American culture. Good clothes, good music, good food etc. And they would listen to rap music and act like them, but at the same time they say they're doing it just because it looks cool or to fit in with the other black Americans hahaha.
