As someone who is in the industry, yes, you do put serial numbers on prototypes. This is clearly a prototype.

I always just assumed that the footage from the second movie was taken from the first movie. It didn't occur to me that the actress changed, so of course they would have had to re-film it. I guess I'm not that observant (of faces, or of names for that matter). Thanks, that was fun!

Ok, I was curious so I looked it up on http://www.nbcchicago.com. It turns out that the woman had 3 small children with her, so it's not clear whether she stole the money or was just distracted and thought it belonged to her. It was a $20 bill. The store gave the girl an ice cream party, and the woman paid the money back (after her husband turned her in to the police, LOL).

I wish the video showed what happened next. Why didn't she walk away? What did the girls do when they noticed the money was gone?

The glass was already broken and the pane was hanging out of the frame at the beginning of the clip, so I don't see what the big deal is. I'm sure it didn't take much to break it the rest of the way. Funny to see the a** dancing in the window, though.
