George Formby - When I'm Doing Acid

In 1956 ukulele ace George Formby took part in top secret drug tests. The results were filmed for a proposed Elstree Comedy entitled "Why DO You Look Like A Donkey Our Vera?".
It was a step too far for the cheeky chappie from Barnsley - the movie was scrapped and Formby never spoke of it again.... TURNED OUT STRANGE AGAIN MOTHER...

Now tell me-Where did the Beatles get their lyrics for Lucy in the Sky? Formby re-wrote lyrics to his tune, "When I'm Cleaning Windows" in 1956 when he took part in some LSD experiments concocted by the UK.
