GOP The "Top Tier" is Dead

YouTube Description:

The so-called, "Top Tier" of the Republican Nominees is dead! Time to reconsider how you feel about Ron Paul.

I've been supporting Ron Paul since his 2008 run for presidency. Though his recently revealed plan to eliminate US debt, rather eliminated my faith in him. A lot of his beliefs freak me out, and I disagree with a number of his policies (and this was before his debt-plan). Still though, he's the only guy who seems to speak with common sense and conviction. I've gone from wanting to elect him as the obvious choice for the country, back to that feeling of "voting for the lesser evil", but the reason I'd still like him to be the next president is because, at the very worst, we would be failing in a different way than we are now.

Ultimately his conviction to close down overseas bases and pull all troops back to the mainland kind of trumps the multitude of negative beliefs he has. I have never wanted to live in a war-mongering, greed-fueled country, yet that is what this country is. The US could at least pick a direction that would eliminate some of those destructive beliefs.

Damn, Rick Perry acts just like Bush. He'll be the nominee for sure.

I am shocked that Cain is still polling well. The sexual harrassment mess won't hurt him with the base. His skin color is his core liability, a deal breaker.

Romney's religion is similarly a deal breaker.

Ron Paul, thankfully, will never get the nomination.

When your country's possible future president uses the de-escalation of illegal wars as a bargaining chip so he can get rid of healthcare and the unemployment benefit, you know your in a rapid race to the bottom.

Thing is I would actually have a conversation with Bush and like to meet him and be polite. I think he seems like a really nice guy and not at all as dumb as he's portrayed. Perry seems like a total sleazebag to me.
