Freezepop - Parlez-vous Freezepop?

Boston-based synth-pop trio Freezepop takes their name from a kind of popsicle, which mirrors their self-described style of "sweet and cold and fruity and plastic-y." Originally, they composed all of their music on a tiny handheld sequencer, the Yamaha QY-70, but have since expanded their instrumentation. One of the band members, Kasson Crooker (who uses the stage name "Duke of Pannekoeken" when he performs with the group) is audio director for game developer Harmonix, and several Freezepop songs have made appearances in their games.
