My_design says...

Great song, but how is it that I'm the one wondering if this isn't just slightly racist?
I mean she's being chased down the street by a black man then she's canoodling with a handsome white guy. I mean the black guy is the one doing voodoo and dancing around like he's hopped up on PCP. It is at the very least a stereotypical portrayal. At the very least she should have been canoodling the Voodoo guy, so as to give justification for his stabbing her doll.
Just seems at funny is all I'm saying.

Have to agree, it does seem a bit off. Not to mention that the whole thing feels disjointed. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of her songs, but this isn't the imagery going through my head when I hear this song.
